He realized the other day that things are made in countries other than the US. This so surprises him he reversed himself, declaring the iPad is ruining America. The creation and selling of it counts for nothing in his book. I wonder how he made the startling discovery that stuff is made in China? And that the iPad is the cause of it all- all the government policies, wage costs, standard of living differentials?
Of course all these are new developments, for a few months ago he was heralding it as a paradigm of American genius that should be widely used. What has changed since then I wonder? Is there the scent of money in the air? Is the "honorable" Representative Jackson simply feeble minded? Of course, he does hail from Illinois, where voters like politicians with little grasp of common sense.
