Expense reporting used to mean collect receipts, tape receipts, copy, then fax or mail receipts. now I circumvent the process with Genius Scan on my iPhone.
Lay em out, snap a pic, enhance it, save to a file, put it in Dropbox. I used to email the files as .pdf attachments, but with the Dropbox API that is no longer necessary.
I also use Genius Scan when I need to send a hard copy anywhere. Fax machines are so cold war.
If only there was an OCR module I may find new uses Q had only dreamed of.
