...dragged a comb across my head. Went downstairs and had a cup. And that's about all the Beatles wrote about coffee making.
I noticed today is May 1, and we have been home for about 3-4 weeks so far this year. Lotsa travel. Imagine if all those mornings waking up in a hotel room were not blessed with a decent cup of coffee to punctuate the morning?!
I likes my coffee. It used to be that my Starbucks card was my best coffee tool on the road. Then came the iPhone app, and I thought tech had made my life better. Then came @CoffeePedaler. I learned what really good coffee is, and how it is made, and how different it is from the mundane good quality with which I had become enamored.
Now, thanks to @CoffeePedaler, I travel with a coffee tech kit comprised of: an Aero Press, a scale, 2 ceramic cups, a Hario grinder, and great whole beans. A lot of kit for someone who lives indefinitely out of carryon luggage! That is the strongest statement I can make about the value I place on my coffee.
If the Beatles were now, I like to Imagine that coffee would be their cuppa tea.
