Avoiding Checked Baggage Fees

My MO is never let my luggage out of my hands. But occasionally I accumulate stuff on the road. When I do, my luggage handler is UPS. Or maybe FedEx. Or even USPS. It is not the airline if there is any way to avoid it. I hate baggage fees, and the stupid management policies they represent.



So we buy a box, load it up, tape it closed, and send it onward.

Now, why don't business hotels have an in-house shipping service? Marriott, Hilton, are you listening? Free new revenue stream.
