I do love to eat out. I also have to critique the experience. After a career in the restaurant business, I take great pleasure in a place that is doing a good job, and umbrage at those that don't. Over at Tavelin' Life- Exechobo, I noticed that I have posted over 200 reviews of places to eat. No wonder I have some weight to lose!
When we go out to eat, we take a risk. Trusting another person, or group of people to make and serve the food that nourishes our body and soul is about as intimate as we get with strangers. When they do a good job, it warms my heart and rekindles my faith in humanity. When they don't, it makes me feel betrayed and angry. Read all about it.
