Blackberry has a great history, and has managed to parlay domination of pagers into the number one share of smartphones. For a variety of reasons, they have not shifted to a posture of innovation, and get criticized for that. For some reason this seems to have an extraordinary impact on the CEO. Big companies are targets for criticism. Success in business is not related to love or regard. Most CEOs learn that early on. For one to run away during an interview with a major news agency is unheard of. Till now. Imagine what is happening at RIM to make such a bunker mentality. Being number one, and losing share with no apparent solution, over years, seems to be the RIM way. Sell your shares! RIM is run by crabby babies.

RIM's leadership has gone from comical to just plain sad.
