Capital One- fine fraud protection

When we travel, we rely on credit cards. Here in the US, for some bizarre reason, that means handing your card to a person working for minimum wage, while they go away and mess with your card. The Europeans have this right- tableside card processing.

So when someone takes your card and clones it, and goes on a little spending spree, how does the fraud department figure it out? I don't know, but they do. And they don't consider my weird spending habit a tripwire, they just flag the bad guys. Bravo!

So I am on my third credit card. Minor inconvenience. Major sense of well being. The new card went to my hotel overnight, all is well. If you travel, make sure you have a credit card Kung Fu that is very strong. Never let your debit card leave your hand. Be safe and secure.
