iPad 2 vs MacBook Air

I had my mind made up.  MBA.  As a policy I always delay spending money.  So I waited to see what the iPad 2 would be.   John Gruber did a nice piece on the iPad, and how it has come to represent a significant shift in personal computers- goes as far as to comment how little we understood when that phrase was coined.     http://daringfireball.net/2011/03/the_chair

Of course, I, like most others, have not had the experience that is so important to all Apple products, handling it.  Indeed, I am going to have to re-visit my thinking on this subject.  Key questions to be mulled over, reviews to read and re-read, videos to watch, Apple stores to visit and devices to fondle.  Mmmmm how delicious it is to ponder the next tooltoy.
